Whilst I appreciated the added security aspects, I have multiple scripts using 'Send Mail Send via SMTP Server' connecting to Microsoft 365 accounts running on developments as far back as FileMaker 17. Microsoft (Office365) has recently announced that as of October 1, 2022, it will no longer support Basic Authentication which will be replaced with OAuth authentication.ĭoes anyone know if this will impact the native script step 'Send Mail Send via SMTP Server ' or is this only applicable to the 360Works Email and other similar plugins?
